NILI: Nazarene International Language Institute

Stan directs the NILI program where university students come to Quito to live for a semester to study Spanish.  The profits from this program are directly used for to fund ministry in the North Andean Field.

The Classic Program:

Just about anyone can attend NILI.  There's the classic study-abroad program that provides university credit.  Currently we accept students from these universities:
  • Olivet
  • Southern Nazarene
  • Mid-America Nazarene
  • Mount Vernon Nazarene
  • George Fox
  • John Brown
One of Stan's job is to sign on with universities, and our list of accepted schools continues to grow.  We've had a few students who came from other schools but creatively enrolled through our accepted schools.  So talk to Stan if you need credit from a school that's not listed.  There may be a way.

The Professional Program:

The other type of program is the NILI professional program.  It's geared for adults who want to study Spanish but don't want university credit.  We tailor the program to the amount of time you want to be here, the level of Spanish you have (or don't have), etc.  It's a completely customizable program, and we've had wonderful feedback from the adults who have participated.  It's great for sabbaticals or people who just need to learn or improve their Spanish.
